The People Behind Avron
A hometown boy who left corporate life to build something he genuinely believed in.
"Most guests, when they leave, call me to say goodbye. They tell me — if anyone we know comes to Daman, we're sending them straight to you."
— Snehal Rana, Owner & MD, Avron Beach Resort
Engineer. MBA. Entrepreneur. Host.
Snehal Rana grew up in Daman. After a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication and an MBA in Marketing, he spent five years in FMCG — learning how to build brands, understand customers, and move fast.
Then he did something harder: he built a supermarket from scratch, grew it into a successful operation over ten years, and sold it. By most measures, that's a full career. But Snehal had always been drawn to hospitality — not as an industry, but as a way of being.
In November 2025, he leased Avron Beach Resort in Daman and began turning a vision into something real.
Daman Born & Raised
This isn't a business investment from someone who visited once. This is home.
Hotels Are Beautiful Buildings. But Where's the Life?
Snehal had stayed at many resorts and hotels over the years. What struck him wasn't the rooms or the facilities — it was the emptiness. Beautiful properties with no soul. Staff that were polite but distant. Guests left to their own devices in a space that felt more like a showroom than a home.
He wanted to build something different. A resort where you don't need to step out to have a good time — where the pool, the food, the games, the evening atmosphere, and the people around you are enough to make a weekend genuinely memorable.
Dad First, Host Second
His daughter visits the resort regularly — naughty, curious, and completely at home here. That shaped everything.
He Knows What Parents Want. Because He Is One.
Snehal's daughter spends time at the resort regularly. She runs around the pool area, plays in the game zone, and makes herself completely at home — because it is.
That's not a background detail. It directly shapes every decision made at Avron. The pool environment, the game area, the calm evenings, the food choices — all of it is filtered through the eyes of a parent who knows what it feels like to want your child safe, happy, and genuinely entertained without you having to manage every moment.
When families say the resort "felt like home," that's not an accident. It was built that way intentionally.
Not a Transaction. A Relationship.
Snehal Meets His Guests
He personally interacts with most guests who stay at the resort. Not a brief hello — a real conversation. Guests regularly leave having spent time with him that they didn't expect and didn't want to end.
We Genuinely Care
The same standard of care is instilled in every staff member. This isn't a policy. It's a culture — one that comes from the top, and shows in the way guests are treated from check-in to checkout.
Ethics Over Revenue
Snehal is direct about this: he's not here to extract maximum value from every guest. He's here to give a genuinely good experience and earn a loyal guest — someone who returns, and who tells others.
This Is Just the Beginning
Avron Beach Resort opened in late 2025. In a short time, it's already built a loyal base of returning guests and a 4.7-star rating on Google. But Snehal isn't done.
A Full Game Zone
A proper in-resort game zone is being developed — so families and groups have even more reasons to stay, play, and never feel like they're missing something outside.
More Properties in Daman
Snehal is actively looking to lease and transform additional properties — bringing the same warmth, personal touch, and family-first approach to more guests across Daman.
Come See What We Mean
The best way to understand what makes Avron different isn't to read about it. It's to arrive, be welcomed, and leave having experienced it for yourself.
